Meet Kelsey
The specialist your child will look forward to seeing.
Kelsey Lynn Martin, MS, CCC-SLP, is a licensed speech-language pathologist who built this practice around a simple conviction: a worried parent deserves a specialist who knows their child by name, explains things in plain English, and makes every session feel like the best part of the week.
Her story and approach
Kelsey specializes in the skills behind connection: social communication, language, and speech. She also holds advanced training in orofacial myofunctional disorders, the oral and breathing patterns that quietly shape so much of a child’s development. That combination is deliberate. It means she can spot the physical cause behind a struggle that other providers treat only on the surface, and treat the whole picture rather than a single symptom.
Early in her career, Kelsey kept meeting families who had been handed a label but never a plan, and children who’d been drilled on worksheets but never really understood. She started this practice to do it differently: fewer clients, more attention, and a specialist who stays with your child from the first hello to the last goal met.
- One specialist, every session. Your child works with Kelsey. Not a rotating team, not whoever’s available. Every session, every time.
- Plain language, always. Every clinical term gets translated. You’ll never leave a conversation more confused than you came into it.
- Progress you can see. Goals are set at the start, checked at the midpoint, and reviewed at the end, so you always know what’s changing and why.
- Care that’s coordinated. Kelsey works alongside your child’s pediatrician, dentist, orthodontist, and ENT, so everyone’s rowing in the same direction.
